Phuket Children and Families Home offers support and provide temporary shelter for young men, women or families experiencing hardship. They aim to resolve any issues those who seek assistance may have before allowing them to return home.
It is also a place where children are placed for temporary care whilst investigations are carried out when there are problems within their family.
Phuket Children and Families Home also establish guidelines to help with the welfare and protection of children and women, especially against cases of physical and sexual assault.
Ms.Aurai Maidukem Almoner of the Phuket Children and Families Home advised us ”Phuket Children and Families Home helps, cares and provides food and shelter for victims 24 hours a day. We require help on a regular basis and we rely on donations regularly. However, what is more important for me is that everyone knows that we are here to help anybody who is a victim or needs a consultation.
