Visit the Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels, a food truck fair. The fair was held for the second time in three months on March 11, 2022 (latest in December 2021) at the Friday Market – Boat Avenue, Cherng Talay, Phuket. There are a lot of tasty foods at this event. It is a dish prepared by a chef from the Marriott hotels and resorts in Phuket and Khao Lak.
The majority of the food is street food, which is freshly prepared at the market by chefs from each hotel. Steamed buns from the Bun Bar, Mexican-style chicken quesadillas, BBQ pork ribs, and many other options are available. There is also a game to win a discount card and live music at the event.
There are also fries, fish and chips, and fried chicken wings. I ordered fish and chips, which were delicious, and then I stopped to get Indian food from the Plant Based food truck, as the entire restaurant is free of beef and pork. In terms of water, there are cocktails, young coconuts, and so on. When it arrives, it’s time to go shopping inside, and I get the BBQ chicken (Kai Kor Lea) and 1 bag (1kg) of strawberries.
This Friday Market sells a wide variety of food, appliances, clothing, and handicrafts. The cost is not as high as you think. Anyone passing through or near that area, let’s go shopping if you have time. Every Friday, the market opens at 5:00 p.m.
Furthermore, I believe Marriott hotels and resorts in Phuket and Khao Lak will launch ‘Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels’ within the next three months in order to re-enter the Friday Market.
