Chef Visanu Konthong has 17 years’ experience, both in Bangkok and five-star hotels in Phuket such as Diamond Cliff Resort and Spa, Holiday Inn Mai Khao, Dewa Nai Yang Beach Resort, and has been an Executive Sous Chef for The Naka Phuket for the last three years.
What is your inspiration?
I love cooking, I love life in kitchen and I love my colleagues. We work very hard here but I’m happy. Half of my life has been spent in the kitchen!
My recommended dish today is roasted rack of lamb with herbs and port wine sauce. The special ingredient is the imported Australian lamb, roasted with green herbs, served with potato, vegetables and our special wine sauce.
