Takieng Restaurant is the Thai Restaurant of Renaissance Phuket Resort & spa. Their menu features a delicious range of Thai dishes featuring the flavours for which make Thai food so popular; sweet, sour, spicy, salty etc

Open daily for dinner, Takieng features both and indoor air conditioned dining area and an outdoor terrace area which offers spectacular sea views. For this year’s Vegetarian Festival, Takieng is now offering a vegetarian set menu which is both delicious and Affordable.

Since the beginning of this year’s festival Phuketindex have been recommending a variety of restaurants which are offering vegetarian cuisine in recognition of the Vegetarian Festival. However, for those who are not following the vegetarian diet throughout the 9 day festival Takieng is still offering its usual full menu.

Takieng’s Vegetarian Set Menu is for 2 persons and includes:

Fried Taro: Served with dipping sauce
Bamboo Pulp Soup with Shitake Mushroom
Stir Fried Eggplant with basil and Chilli : Served with Rice
Pork-Flavored Tofu with Vermicelli Noodle Salad
Stir Fried Eryngii Mushrooms with Thick Sauce
Coconut Jelly
