Wat Vichit Sangkaram is one of the biggest and most ornate of Phuket’s Buddhist monasteries, and the architecture is quite typical of wats throughout Thailand, features many large and colourful murals depicting Buddhist themes. TIPS : All visitors are most welcome to visit Thai temples, but please do not forget to remove your shoes before entering any temple building.
There are no admission fees, but a very small donation of even 10 baht is very much appreciated to help maintenance costs.
