Method
1, Remove the leaves from the plant so only the roots remain.
2. Clean the roots several times with cold water ensuring all sediment is removed.
3. Soak in cold water for at least 10 minutes, remove and leave to dry.
4. Warm the oil in a wok until hot, fry the chillies until crisp and fragrant, leave to cool.
5. Place Houttuynia cordata in a salad bowl, add the chillies and remaining ingredients, mix well and serve.
